Case · News portal · Agribusiness
Brazilian agribusiness, published every day.
(01) The challenge
A giant sector deserves coverage to match.
Agro2 covers Brazilian agribusiness on a daily basis, with content on crops and weather, tariffs and exports, agricultural research, trade fairs and rural culture. Coverage ranges from corn zoning to the tradition of the berrante horn and includes its own podcast series. Such a segmented portal needs an editorial structure able to organize the volume of publications and serve both the rural producer and the market analyst.
The goal was to create an editorial platform organized around agribusiness' main topics, with news, market, research, events and culture in an agile publishing flow with fast pages.
Responsive design
From the office to the field, on mobile.
Agribusiness readers track prices, weather and trade policy wherever they are, often out in the field with limited signal. Lightweight pages guarantee access to news even under those conditions.
(02) The approach
Sections that reflect the sector.
Editorial structure
News, crops, market, research and culture organized into clear sections: readers find their own corner of agribusiness.
Evergreen + timely content
A calendar of trade fairs and guides coexists with breaking news coverage: search traffic and returning traffic.
Integrated multimedia

Project FAQ
Frequently asked questions about this case.
What did WebOption deliver in this project? +
Agro2's editorial platform: home, section and article templates, a structure for podcast and trade fair calendar, a publishing flow for the newsroom, and the WordPress technical foundation optimized for volume.
What does Agro2 cover? +
Brazilian agribusiness in a daily flow: crops and weather, market and exports, agricultural research, trade fairs and events, and rural culture, with articles, guides and a podcast series.
Why does performance matter for an agribusiness portal? +
Because part of the audience accesses it from rural areas, with limited connectivity, and because Google rewards fast pages with more traffic. A lightweight portal reaches readers wherever they are and grows organically.
Can I get a similar result for my portal? +
Yes. Every project starts with a free diagnosis in which we assess your editorial operation, performance and SEO. From there, we design a platform that serves the newsroom and scales the audience.
