Why migrate from Framer to WordPress?

Framer is excellent for prototyping and static landing pages, but it's not a CMS. It has no scalable content system, accessible editor for teams, or native backend integration. Projects that grow into a blog, e-commerce or portal need WordPress. The migration preserves the sophisticated design on an editable platform.

How do you migrate the Framer design to WordPress?

The Framer design is re-coded in WordPress, whether via Full Site Editing (FSE/Block Themes), Elementor Pro or custom theme development. Framer components (buttons, cards, sections) become reusable blocks or widgets. Animations and interactions are recreated with native CSS/JS or GSAP.

Framer has a CMS: can it be migrated to WordPress?

Framer CMS has collections with typed fields and references. The migration exports via REST API and imports into WordPress Custom Post Types with equivalent ACF fields. Each field type (text, image, reference, rich text) has a direct mapping to corresponding ACF fields.

Are Framer animations kept in the migration to WordPress?

Framer animations (scroll-triggered, hover, page transitions) are recreated in native CSS/JavaScript, GSAP or ScrollTrigger for WordPress. It's not an automatic migration, each animation is reviewed and technically implemented. The result preserves the visual experience with cleaner code and no lock-in on the Framer platform.

Framer SEO vs WordPress: what changes?

Framer has basic SEO support (meta tags, sitemap). WordPress with Yoast/Rank Math offers much more granular control: schema markup, Open Graph, readability analysis, sitemaps by content type, native redirects. The migration typically improves technical SEO thanks to the wealth of tools available in the WordPress ecosystem.
