(01) The challenge

Legacy platform holding back growth.

Somos Almah ran on a slow, proprietary CMS that was hard to evolve. A 3.6s LCP drove users away, the editorial team depended on technical support for every change, and maintenance costs grew year after year.

Objective: migrate to WordPress without losing SEO, recover performance, and hand editorial autonomy back to the team.

Responsive design

Flawless on any screen.

The new platform was built mobile-first: fluid layout, generous touch targets, and the same 0.8s performance on mobile. Most of Somos Almah's traffic comes from mobile: and that's exactly where the experience needs to shine.

Project FAQ

Frequently asked questions about this case.

How long did the Somos Almah migration take? +

The project was delivered in short cycles: discovery and architecture in the first week, content migration and WordPress rebuild over a few weeks, followed by performance optimization and validation. The platform switch happened without losing any organic traffic, thanks to a 1:1 redirect map.

How did LCP go from 3.6s to 0.8s? +

The combination of a lean FSE theme, modern image formats with correct sizing, priority loading on the LCP element, page caching, and a CDN drastically cut rendering time. The result was a PageSpeed score of 100 and Core Web Vitals in the green on both mobile and desktop.

Can the Somos Almah team edit the site without relying on a developer? +

Yes. We delivered the site in native Gutenberg blocks and reusable page patterns, with the Site Editor unlocked for the team. This lets them publish new pages, adjust text, and swap images while keeping the visual identity intact, without writing any code.

Was organic traffic affected by the platform switch? +

No. The migration used a 301 redirect strategy mapping every old URL to its new counterpart, preserved the semantic data structure, and was monitored in Search Console. Rankings were maintained, and the performance improvement reinforced the quality signals.

Can I get a similar result for my project? +

Yes. Every project starts with a free diagnostic where we assess your current platform, performance, SEO, and business goals. From there we design the scope: migration, rebuild, or optimization with clear Core Web Vitals and conversion goals.
